Gigi Hadid X Tommy
I was beyond excited to hear that one of my favorite models, Gigi Hadid, was going to be collaborating again with Tommy Hilfiger! I've been rocking my Tommy cap and white sneakers hard lately and I'm excited to see if I can get my hands on a few items from this epic collection. Unfortunately most of my favorite items sold out in minutes but there are a few items from the line still available in a XS!
I pulled together a few of my favorite looks from the show.

Valentine's Day Ideas for Teens
OK, so is anyone else in a Valentine's Day rut? I've been having a hard time deciding what I want to do this year. I'm stuck in the middle of "being too old for classroom candy grams" and "too young/not ready for mushy Valentine's Day dates". So I came up with a few ideas that we tweens and teens can do so we don't feel completely left out of this holiday.💕
Have a baking party.
Invite a few of your closest friends over to make cookies. Just pop on a movie in the background and make some heart shaped sweets. Not only do you get to eat your favorite dessert but you'll get a sweet Insta pic out of it 😜.
Spa Day.
Who doesn't love a spa day? Take a bath, give yourself a mani pedi or put on a face mask while watching a movie. Either way you will thank yourself later!
Family Night.
Order a heart shaped pizza and bring out the games. Enjoy some time with your family and spend Valentine's Day with the ones you love the most.
Go to an Amusement Park.
When in doubt, always go to Disney! See if you can round up your friends, siblings, or cousins and head over to the happiest place on earth! I know this isn't possible for everyone, so instead you can substitute it with bowling or even a trampoline park.
Don't forget to follow me on Instagram @saraahs_closet for some more Valentines ideas.
Have a great week!

Pop of Camo
OK, who's obsessed with camo as much as I am? Something about the print just makes me feel so comfortable and edgy at the same time. My favorite camo piece is this jacket, no one can come between my Forever 21 camo jacket and I. This jacket in particular is my favorite because it's perfectly over sized and has drawstrings on the inside where you can sinch in your waist. Just throw on a white t-shirt and jeans for an effortless and trendy look. I like to cuff my sleeves to give it an even more casual vibe.
Enjoy your weekend!

Valentines Day Slime!
By now you've probably caught onto the latest obsession with kids my age...SLIME!! Whether its popped up on your suggested page on Instagram or see kids at school playing with it, either way you can't escape it! The truth is, it's probably the best thing that could have happened to us.... here's why. Since learning how to make slime, I've spent less time on my phone and more time in the craft store. The other day I was at Walmart looking for Elmers glue and ran into 5 girls looking for the same thing! We all looked at each other and smiled while my sister teased us for causing a glue shortage. This is definitely an activity my parents can get behind... although they aren't so happy with me using all the tupperware to store my slime 😁
*1tsp Borax
Here's What you need!
*1Cup Warm Water
*Glue (any kind will do just make sure it has PVA)
*Food coloring (optional)
*Shaving Cream
*Glitter
*Mixing bowl & spoon
Step 1.
Combine Borax and water. Mix until Borax is completely dissolved. Put aside.
Step 2.
Pour Glue into mixing bowl. (The amount of glue you pour is the amount of slime you will have)
Step 3.
Add food coloring and mix.
Step 4.
Add Shaving Cream and mix.
Step 5.
Pour in the slightest amount of borax mixture and keep adding until the slime is no longer sticky. (Don't add too much or the slime will be too stiff) You will quickly see it clump together.
Step 6.
Use your hands to knead it together.
Step 7.
Add glitter and fold it into the slime. (You can add as much as you want)
Step 8.
Enjoy!!

Sweater Weather
Hope everyone had a fantastic Halloween! This year I opted for a comfortable costume and dressed up as an 80's girl (see picture on Instagram ) We enjoyed our night surrounded with friends, family, good food, and of course CANDY!! Here in the Vally our Halloween weather is a cool 70 degrees with a chilly evening of 50 degrees. I love this change of weather or "Sweater Weather" as we like to call it. I styled my sweater with a pair of shorts to keep me cool for when the sun peeks through the clouds, a scarf to add a third pice to the outfit, and of course my white sneakers to keep myself comfy.

The Struggle Is Real
Being a tween is hard! Well.... mainly in the fashion industry. Since growing out of a size 7 I have had a tough time finding fashionable trendy items to fit my style. Everything is either rainbow colored or has an obnoxious catch phrase printed on it. It seems to me like the little girls and the teens/adults have all the fun. Not any more! Posting my outfits on Instagram challenged me to find stores where we could buy fashionable pieces in tween sizes and thank you lord we found some!!!
Forever 21 / Forever 21 kids
Forever 21 and Forever 21 kids is the most convenient place to buy, they carry sizes 5-14 in kids and XS- Plus sizes in adults. I usually wear a size 12/14 and an adult S sometimes too big, so I was thrilled to see that they carry size XS for us tweens.
Glasses were found at Ross similar ones here-->FJsPopshop Chantal Metal Aviators
Stylish Rags
Stylish Rags has been my favorite for a long time now, they carry items from size 2-16 in kids. Not only do they provide cute stylish clothes but it is all very age appropriate. See my last post for more Stylish Rags here.
Aviators and Shoes were DTLA finds
